On December 9, 2023, the children of Baimajian Primary School came to Suzhou the Taihu Lake National Wetland Park to participate in the science popularization and education activity of searching for the "spirit" of the sky. In winter, the wetlands in Suzhou become a poetic habitat, and migratory birds make the winter vibrant. For children, learning to wait quietly, observe carefully, learn independently, and love nature is probably the significance of bird watching activities. Take a boat tour of wetlands
As early as 2500 years ago, Wu Wang Fuchai and his beautiful woman Xishi took a boat trip to the lake here. Now let's experience the artistic conception of "people sitting on the boat, boats swimming in the painting" by taking a boat. Children here can see the undulating mountains in the distance and the abundant water and grass nearby, understand the role of wetlands in the earth's ecology, environment, and climate regulation, and enhance their sense of responsibility for protecting wetlands. Along the way, there are also groups of green headed ducks and water hyacinth swimming across the lake. The teacher gave the students bird guides to popularize bird knowledge.
